The USGBC estimated that 60% of landfill waste comes from commercial construction. We are committed to diverting at least 75% of our construction waste from the landfill. We design our buildings to use local and recycled content materials to lessen the impact of transportation and manufacturing of goods. We specify only Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) wood that is grown in sustainable forests and abide by human rights guidelines. We provide more open space than is required by local codes and provide hybrid parking and on-site recycling facilities.

Our energy reductions and use of renewable energy and green power significantly reduces our carbon footprint and contribute to the worldwide effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We use environmentally friendly chemicals and recycled products; plus the refrigerants used have very low ozone depleting potential.
